Even so, religious boundaries must still be considered where in teaching and learning practice there can be no ikhtilat or mixing between men and women, therefore in the field of Islamic education, especially pesantren, it becomes a need for pesantren which only consists of women to the top. . In recent years, there has been a growing interest in women's leadership in these schools, as many Muslim women are seeking to become religious leaders. This comparative study aims to examine women's leadership in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam. The purpose of our study was to analyze the different leadership roles of women in Islamic boarding schools in these three countries. We use a qualitative approach combined with literature studies with interviews as a data collection technique. In addition, we used thematic comparative analysis to analyze the data collected from the interviews. The results are; in Indonesia, women often serve as heads of pesantren, focusing on collaborative, community-oriented leadership emphasizing service and mutual support. Conversely, female leadership in Malaysian Islamic schools is relatively rare, characterized by hierarchical structures and strict rule enforcement. Brunei Darussalam displays limited female leadership, with some exceptions following a conservative, values-centered approach. The study underscores the influence of cultural, social, and religious factors on women's leadership styles in Islamic educational institutions. The research highlights the need for further exploration of these dynamics, enabling the development of policies and practices that foster inclusive leadership environments within the context of Islamic teachings. At the end of this article will be presented in the form of a table about a comparison conclusion between Islamic Boarding School and Women Leadership in these specified countries for better understanding
Nizma Armila ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://iaibbc.e-journal.id/xx/article/view/210 Sat, 28 Oct 2023 02:54:09 +0000 Development of PAI Learning in the Digital Era Merdeka Curriculum at MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta https://iaibbc.e-journal.id/xx/article/view/226
Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a central role in shaping the personality, morality and spiritual values of students. As for the problems of learning Islamic religious education in the Merdeka Curriculum in the digital era, namely: human resources are not adequate to implement Islamic religious education learning in the digital era, PAI teachers have not mastered the concept of an Merdeka Curriculum and do not have qualified abilities in using technological media in learning, low quality of education, inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The unstoppable flow of globalization threatens to shift cultural heritage including traditional education in Pakistan. Thus, efforts are needed so that traditional education is not abandoned and remains relevant to current developments. The aim of this research is to determine the relevance of the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum for the development of modern Islamic religious education in Pakistan. This research is field research combined with literature study. The data collection instrument used was semi-structured interviews. This research was conducted in 15 school institutions, both formal and informal, in 5 big cities in Pakistan. The results of this research found that the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum has several limitations in terms of relevance to modern needs. Islamic educational institutions retain Dars-e-Nizami for the reason that they see it as a way to preserve and inherit the classical Islamic intellectual tradition as well as to maintain a strong understanding of the Islamic religion among students. Education based on the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum still has an important place in the highly conservative and traditional Muslim community. The implications of this research are that schools in Pakistan do not abandon traditional education or curriculum, but continue to preserve it by making adjustments that are relevant to current developments
Nadeem Mahmood ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://iaibbc.e-journal.id/xx/article/view/231 Mon, 20 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Maghribi Mushaf as a Cultural Tradition of Moroccan People and its Relevance from Occasional Times https://iaibbc.e-journal.id/xx/article/view/234
The Maghreb manuscripts have great cultural significance and are a valuable component of the nation's heritage. They are considered to represent Morocco's rich cultural heritage and provide an in-depth perspective on the history and culture of the country.. As time goes by, many of these mushafs have been abandoned because with advanced technology, Moroccan people can easily read the Koran digitally without using traditional mushafs. This research is a qualitative descriptive study . The research design used is a library research design where the data sources for this research are national and international books and journals, as well as other library sources. Research techniques are carried out using documentation, namely looking for data about a thing or variable in the form of books, articles and journals. Activities in data analysis include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this research show that the differences between the Maghreb Mushaf and other Al-Quran editions lie in the script and pronunciation, along with a few more words, graphic variations/basic letters, and vowel variants. To read the Mushaf of the Maghreb, one must know the script, understand how to pronounce it, enroll in a Koran school, hear recitation, and practice frequently. By using this strategy, a person can become a better reader and understand the Koran more deeply. Use of the Maghreb Script Evolved Over Time The Maghreb can be traced back to its creation during the Islamic invasion and its subsequent devolution and refinement under several sultans. Maghreb manuscripts are currently preserved and digitized in large numbers, and this provides an invaluable learning opportunity for academics and researchers. The implication of the results of this research is that reading the Koran using a traditional mushaf does not mean backwardness, but is part of preserving culture and following the guidance taught by the Prophet Muhammad
Zoulal Mansouri ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://iaibbc.e-journal.id/xx/article/view/234 Tue, 21 Nov 2023 12:06:47 +0000
